Sport Berkey® Replacement Filter:

Replacement filter element for the 22 oz. Sport Berkey® Portable Water Bottle. 

• The filter is designed to remove or dramatically reduce toxic chemicals, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, trihalomethanes, detergents, pesticides, herbicides, chlorides, pharmaceuticals, petroleum-based products, unpleasant tastes and odor, silt, sediment and chlorine
• Uses the same filtration medium as the larger Black Berkey® Purification Element
• Do not run hot water through filter
• Filter Capacity: change about every 6 months or as follows:

1. 160 refills/about 95 liters for use with heavily contaminated water.
2. 640 refills/about 378 liters for consistent removal of microbiological contaminants.
3. 1600 refills/about 946 liters for removal of chlorine, unpleasant taste and odors.

This Sport Berkey Replacement Filter just fits the recently upgraded Sport Berkey. The Sport Berkey has been updated and enhanced by the producer with a bigger inside straw, taking into account less demanding water take-up and filtration. Thus, the spouts on the underbelly of the Sport Berkey top and the Sport Berkey substitution channels are bigger too. Substitution channels to fit more seasoned Sport Berkey has been ceased by New Millennium Concepts and are not any more accessible.
